It's only fair to give Pat Patrick credit for Patrick's Lady in Red. This little bitch produced the dogs that produced the dogs that are still producing good dogs. Lady in Red was very inbred on Patrick's Red Baby(ROM) who was by far Pat Patrick's best producing bitch. However, it is also fair to give the late Mr.Hollingsworth credit for having the genious and vision to take Lady in Red to the Bolio-Tombstone dogs he cautiosly selected .They have had such a huge impact on the dogs of today. These dogs are known for their GAMENESS and DURABILITY...not to mention PRODUCING ABILITY. As C.M.L. said "You have to kill every hair on thier back to stop them." They SCREAM in the corner and are as durable of a dog as you'll ever find. It's hard to break them down. S.T.P. had Yazoo Cody(1x) and he said that S.O.B. had NO ABILITY..and NO MOUTH but he was DEAD GAME. He just wouldn't go away. Mr.Hollingsworth had some wierd beliefs. He thought that ALL BLACK DOGS WERE CURS. He only bred the red/red nose dogs. That was the old mans opinion, and nobody was going to change his mind. Anyhow, these dogs throw game dogs and are now being bred to other strains of bulldogs. Only time will tell how they turn out. When lady in red was bred to Yazoo Cody(1X) , she produced Hollingsworth's Dolly(ROM), Polly(ROM), Bob, Molly, and RedmanJr. The most famous of all the Hollinsworth dogs is Dolly(ROM.) When she was bred to Gr.Ch.Yellow(ROM) she produced Southern Kennels Grand Champion Mayday(ROM), Southern Kennels Ch. Choice, Southern Kennels Ch. Dragon Lady(whose Fist 2 never hit the 40 minute mark & 3rd went 2 hours 10 minutes with NO out of holds and NO turns), and Southern Kennels Madonna(1x) who lost all teeth in a kennel accident. Gr.Ch.Mayday(ROM) is her most famous offspring and has had a HUGE impact on the dogs of today. He might just pass up Jeep on the ROM list. Dolly , when bred to Powerhouse Kennels Ch.Deadlift, whelped Ch. Dragon Man(3X) whose reports were never sent in. Most breedings were to Redboy-Jocko dogs except for the breedings with Ch.Mickey and Hollingsworth's Bull. The breeding with Mickey produced Diane(2x). The breeding with Hollingsworth Bull(POR) was a great one. In that breeding all the dogs were game. The most famous of that breeding is Red Tide Kennel's Crash(2X) (1XL)(picked up game.) For his second show..he beat the Havannah Boys in 1:51.In his 3rd he lost all cutters at the 20 min. mark against Sarge Kennels Ch. Jesse James who himself was a grandson of Hollingsworth Bull. HE still went over 2 hours. He is producing PHENOMENAL animals to this date, and will soon join his ancestors on the ROM list. I feel that Crash is the absolute best performing pure Hollingsworth Bolio-Tombstone dog in the world(my opinion).

Hollingsworth Dolly had a littermate sister named Polly(ROM) AKA Red Lady that when bred to Gr.Ch.Mayday produced Pro-Set'sCh.MayMay and Big Apple Kennel's Ch. Haunch. On her second breeding with Gr.Ch.Mayday(ROM), she whelped Gena Boy's and RTK's Dragoon(1X)(2:20). She also produced Ch. Johnny 5 when bred to a Jeep dog.

Hollingsworth Bull has also produced very well. A few dogs of mention are Ch.Popeye, the above Crash, Pitstop's Reggie, Red Tide and Aycart's Bronson(2X),and Red Tide Kennel's Tarna(1X.) Bronson had won two and for his third he went into a champion in very bad shape. He was way dehydrated and sick but he still went over two hours. He had the champion beat but went into shock in the corner. Tarna(1X) beat Captain America in from the bottom to the top GAME win. When Tarna(1X) was bred to Crash, she produced Red Tide's Crazy Daisy who is the foundation bitch of Openhouse Kennels yard. When Bull was bred to Hollingsworth's Angel, he produced Hollingsworth's Ch.Blade(3X), Hollingsworth's Doc Savage(1X)(won in over two hours), Hollingsworth's Pencil(2X), Hollingsworth's Hero (1X)(1:37), Hollingsworth's Red Man(1XL)(2:02)deadgame against Ch.Zabo, Hollingsworth's Riot, and Hollingsworth's Angel Face. Hollingsworth's Riot when bred Bronc's Bubbles[Indian Baby Spike X Crum's Creamator(2x)] produced Hollingsworth's Gr.Ch.Willie(5x). Angel Face was super hard tested by Southern Kennels and was then bred to bred to Gr.Ch.Mayday to get Crossroad Kennel's Pee Wee who is a game to the bone stud dog . He is producing good ones for Crossroad Kennels.

When Lady in Red was bred to Hollingsworth Saber, they produced Hollingsworth's Truman and Miss Trinx who are some of the foundation dogs of California Jacks breeding program. Regardless of what his critics have to say..he is producing good solid winning bulldogs. That breeding also produced Lethal(1X), Ballard's(Hollingsworth's )Red Man(2X.), and Hollingsworth's Bodine. Bodine was a great producing dog as well. When he was bred to Undertakers Miss Leaky(ROM) he produced Undertaker Kennels's Ch.Boy and Catch and Wreck's Ch.Saline. He also produced Untouchables Hugo(2X.)

When Lady in red was bred to Garner's Paddy she produced Hollingsworth's Ruby(2x), Hollingsworth's Angel, and Hollingsworth's Velvet(1X.) Ruby was bred back to Paddy to get Wildeside's Peppermint Paddy. Peppermint Paddy was then bred to Hollingswort's Prince to get Joe D's (Wildsides) Ch.Red Pirate(4X). Ruby was also bred to Ch.Chinaman(ROM) to get Coal Cat who was then bred to Pencil(2X) to get Garners Fat baby(1X.) Fat baby was then bred to a son of Crum's Creamator(Tombstone X Red Baby) named Slick 50 to produce Gr.Ch. Spikey.
