The picture to the Left  was taken in 1915 when earl (WHO IS ON THE RIGHT) was a young man he spent a few years in the army, when he got out he became a farmer like his daddy. In those years the land in Earls area was Rich farm land, the farmers farm with mules and walk behind plows. At the same years Earl was farming, he was breeding and matchen his dogs in the pit along the red river between Oklahoma and Texas, it was then when Earl got marryed to FLO his wife till he died of old age. Back in those years when Earl was a young man in his 20's he conditions his match dogs in the fields he was farming. In the years when I first became a breeder of American Gamedogs, I would drive to earls and visit and deal gamedogs with him, I started visiting and dealen with Earl in 1960, I was then 22 years old, Earl then was in his mid 60's, at these visits Earl told me many stories about the years when he became a gamedog breeder. Earl said to me " Back in those early 20's I ust to like matchen my dogs into the fields with me all day long, they would run rabbits and other wild game all day long while I would be plowen and worken in the fields, then when we walk back home I would work my dog on a catmill for a few hours, then rub the dog down and feed." Earl said everyday but Sunday I worked in the fields farming and conditioning my match dogs. Earl said most years he matched 5 or 6 dogs at that time in the early 1920's. In the 1920's the drought in Oklahoma began, year after year no rain and the farms became dryer and dryer to the point wher Oklahoma farmers who were called Okies, were not able to harvest a crop, more and more of them were becoming so poor they had to kill thir hogs, cows, chickens, mules and horses and eat them, as thir was no feed to feed them, not enought grass for the animals to eat, and not enought money to buy feed. At that time most the farmers started leaven Oklahoma farm land for the farm land in California. Earl said it got real hard to make any money, Earl started salen beer and whiskey, and matchen his dogs and gamechickens to make enought money to survive in the years of the drought. In those years of the Oklahoma drought the wind was blowen day and night for 7 years without rain. Earl said back in thos years we matched chickens for 25 cents a match, we match dogs for 5 to 15 dollars a match, Earl said thir would sometimes be 3 men to a side with each one of them beten 5 dollars each of the front bet. Earl was a survivor in a area wher few were able to stay. When the drought ended and the winds stopped blowen thir was not a blade of grass or a tree standing for many miles, all the topsoil of rich farmland had dryed up and blowed off in the wind, in the fields 2 to 4 feet of topsoil was gone, rocks lay all over the fields sticken up like they had been planted and were grown up out of the fields, the land was so poor it would not grown weeds

In the 1930's earl was breeding his familys of gamedogs more pure and more pure createn his purest family from the most proven dogs he owned. In thos years in the 1920's and the 1930's Earl became known throughout the U.S.A. He was known as the Oklahoma Kid, he was a hard man to win a dog match over, he was a man in is 30's in a gamedog game when most the men breeding and matchen thir dogs were older men who had been breeding and matchen thir dogs for years before Earl moved to Oklahoma. Earl matched his first DIBO bred dog near 1915, the dogs name was "JACK SWIFT", he was a very pure family bred dog of that time, this was Earls first real match with a pure family bred dog into the core of the Dogmen in his area. Back then all the men breeding and matchen thir dogs in the thir dogs in the core of the breed, were breeding and matchen the purest family bred dogs bred at that time. JACK SWIFT was owned by an old man who lived near Earl in Horbant, Oklahoma, he let JACK SWIFT run lose in the town squar wher the man owned a cafe. Earl won his first real match, and he fast become known as the Oklahoma Kid to all the ones at pitside. Near this time was when Earl started dealen and buyen the purest bred familys of the breed, in a short time Earl had a yard of 20 or so of the purest bred familys of the breed. Earl bred and schooled his young pups for the pit, he let his pups run lose, he keap all his older dogs on long chains, and blood bitches in pens. Earl always had one dog that run loose on his place, such dogs were rare for the purest familys of the breed. One such dog Earl train to run loose on his farm around 1917 was a big dog he owned call TUDORS BLACK JACK. Earl would take black jack to the fields with him, he said that big dog would chaste rabbits all day long, he stayed in such conditions I had him open to match for any weekend at catchwight, over the years Earl won 16 matches with BLACKJACK, and let him run loose on his farm all his life BLACKJACK sired a family of the purest family, the DIBO family at that time become known as EARL TUDORS BLACKJACK family, at that time the dogs on Earls yard were bred of the purest family of the American Gamedog Breed. Today in the breed known as American Staffordshire Terrier, the purest familys of the breed are bred from the outcross bred Tudors Blackjack family. The Staffordshire Terrier Breed since the 1920's has been bred for the show and not the pit. The staff breed outcross thir familys of the Blackjack dogs in a way thir dogs were never proven as game in the pit, they were picked as the BEST OF THE BREED by judges who judge the dogs on thir looks as to what the judge thought a gamedog should look like. The staff breed bred thir familys in a way the purest familys of BLACK JACK dogs became very outcrossed bred and became very different in looks. Earl over his years bred his Blackjack his black jack familys to the most proven dogs of the pit, that proved thir gameness in matches in the pit. Earls Blackjack family over years became more pure of family breeding, his family were bred so pure they all looked very much alike. Today the purest bred familys of EARL TUDOR BLACKJACK family, are the familys the purest breed of EARL TUDORS DIBO family of American Gamedogs. At this time the purest bred DIBO family are bred so pure of family breeding, of the most proven heritage in the breed of AMERICAN GAMEDOGS are much more pure bred today then they were in the 1920's when BLACKJACK was running free on Earls farm. You see the different familys in the breed that was bred from the understanding proven in the PIT, in MATCHES wher the dogs proved thir gameness to point of deadgame, became more pure and more pure of family breeding over the years. When the purest bred familys of the gamest proven dogs of the pits in Europe came to America, with thir Christian Breeders who breed them for the pit in that time, starten in the 1600's and keap coming to America up into the 1800's with the purest of the gamest proven breed from Europe. The purest bred familys of gamedogs bred at that time were bred by the Christian People from the most OUTCROSS bred areas in Europe, whitch then was England & Ireland. From these areas in Europe came the purest bred proven familys of gamedogs, bred by the OUTCROSS CHRISTIAN BRED PEOPLE. At this time the different familys of game proven dogs were bred very very pure, they had been bred very pure and proven to be deadgame familys. These were the purest bred familys that was bred in Europe from the people know as ROMAN CHRISTIANS. The ROMAN CHRISTIANS brought thir purest bred proven familys into England, Ireland, and scottland at a time when the purest bred familys of dogs were thir deadgameness was proven in the pit with Bears and Lions. Back in the years when the Out Cross bred ROMAN CHRISTIAN PEOPLE started moven to England and Ireland with thir pure familys of proven gamedogs, the first thing they started doing was marrying up with the English and Irish people, createn CHRISTIAN OUTCROSS bred people in Europe. Over the years the Christians in England and Ireland became more Outcrossed bred in thir genes and D.N.A. make up, and the pure familys of proven dogs became more and more pure bred.
